Unhinged

I’m not scared to dig in the trash…
Thursday night, after we left Boiling Springs Baptist Church, we stopped at the KFC/Taco Bell next door.
God showed up again—as a KFC/Taco Bell employee who helped us find our lost order and stopped me from digging through the trash for the receipt, saying, “Ma’am, you don’t have to do that.”
I replied, “I’ve been on a food truck for four hours—I’m not scared to dig in the trash for a receipt if needed.”
He blessed us with his response: “Yeah, I know who you are. The whole town knows—the food truck giving free meals.”
When you know too much
I’m fascinated by the moment when you learn something new and it changes how you see everything. One second you don’t know. The next second you do. And once you know, you can’t go back. That tiny space between “before” and “after” is what interests me most.
That moment, when the unknown becomes known, is what inspired my J logo.
Re: Where did Jesus go today?
Welcome to this new series “Re:” of where I email my Church Pastor questions I probably shouldn’t. But, I do anyway. How else are we supposed to learn? Enjoy the questions I’m not afraid to ask, and humble enough to respect the answer.
Sitting on the Fence
Guy had a dream, open grass field, split by a fence. One side Satan, One side God.
Satan asked him and said, which one do you want? Do you want God or do you want me? If you come over here, I'll give you all you want, I'll give you everything you want
